Tips for Giving Written Feedback
If you give people feedback in writing, you know how important your comments are. They must communicate your support, fairness, professionalism, and even compassion. Because written feedback provides no opportunity for quick two-way communication, the words on the screen or the page must stand alone, without smiles, nods of encouragement, or other positive body language.
